[ Waking up in a forest in a white sundress when it's cold and snowing is no fun at all, especially when she is dead certain she's not supposed to be here at all. She's clutching the journal she found to her chest as she makes her slow way through the trees, shivering violently. Every so often she stops and sets the journal down so she can cast a Fire spell to try and warm her hands a bit. She's desperate to find some shelter, anywhere she can get out of this cold and just have a moment to think through what the heck is happening here.

But she has no idea where she's going, and finally she stops, letting a few particularly hard shivers pass before she looks down at the journal in her arms. Her musings are a little muddled by her teeth chattering, yes. ]

I don't understand... I'm n-n-not supposed to be here, and I don't even know what happened to my clothes, or what this little book is for.

[ And she glances over her shoulder, frowning softly. ]

And I've g-g-got these wings ... last time I checked, I definitely didn't have wings.

[ Heaving a sigh, she hugs the journal close to her chest again, and rubs a hand up and down one arm, staring at the sky. ]

...what'd they all say? I mean besides the guy who said not to eat the book, since that's pretty self-explanatory.

... Xaldin was just being Xaldin. Xigbar at least told me about the Malnosso.

[ she is very leaving things out. sora, what sora. ]

Xigbar likes being vague though, so I'm not sure how much he told you.

[Ah, ah, ah~ Roxas has enough experience with Sora to not be fooled by Xion's evasive tactics.] And Sora said?

Not much at all. He said something about experiments.

[ lsdkj. she does not want to explain this at all. ] ... he thought I was Kairi. He didn't even believe me at first when I said I wasn't.

[voice]

[perplexme]

...yeah, I'll explain things better when I find you.

[There's a pause there, followed by some grumbling under his breath.] Sora's...not exactly the brightest crayon in the box. I can explain things to him later if that'll help, he listens to me.

[voice]

No! Don't ... don't tell him. I don't ... I don't know if I want him to know what I am.

[voice]

[perplexme]

...what, a Nobody? Xion, he already knows what we are. [Because Derpxas doesn't actually know/remember everything.]

[ oh, god. he really doesn't know. Xion just goes dead silent, lost for words. ]

... I ... I should have guessed. It would have been better if you didn't know... but you wouldn't believe me now if I said it was nothing and never mind, would you?

Definitely not. What's wrong?

... I'll tell you when you get here, okay?

...okay. Hold on, I think I'm almost there.

[ she won't reply, instead setting the journal back down so she can pause and cast another Fire spell to warm herself up as she waits. ]

[Maybe about five or ten minutes later, Roxas is going to be trampling through the forest.] Xion! Where are you?

[actiontastic action]

[ she'll jump a bit, startled from her thoughts. she takes a few steps forward, turning her head this way and that as she calls out ]

Over here!

[Roxas turns his head and sees her, running forward and stopping in front of her.] There you are.

[and nutritious!-- action]

[fourteen]

[ she can't help it -- the moment she seems him she thinks of the last time she saw him, what was happening, and suddenly she can't meet his eyes. but she does try to smile anyway. ]

Hey.

[that's the best kind!-- action]

[perplexme]

[Poor Roxas. He has no idea what's going on, so he tilts his head a little at her reaction.] Hey. Sorry it took me a while to get out here.

[loved by kids AND their health-conscious parents!-- action]

It's okay. I forgot to ask, but ... did you happen to bring anything with you? I'm really, really cold.

[but what about the not-so-health-conscious-parents?!-- action]

[perplexme]

Um...well it's not much, but it should fit you well enough until we get back. [He's just going to present his Organization coat to her. He doesn't wear it much around Luceti, but the Malnosso gave it to him anyway.]

[they can always get the COOKIE FLAVORED!-- action]

... [ wordlessly she takes it from him, slipping it on, though she does wonder about her wings for a moment and how they'll fit under it. and what is he wearing then, anyway? for mun's benefit and all. ]

[Lucky her, Roxas had wing-holes cut in his jacket since he used to wear it around sometimes. And since they aren't going to be outside for very long, he's wearing his normal Twilight-Town outfit with a long-sleeved black shirt under it for arm-warmth.]

Sure. Let's get going, it's a lot colder than I thought it would be out here.

[ oh, that's nifty. once she gets her wings through Xion peers over her shoulder at them, blinking, before shaking her head and zipping the coat up. ]

Okay. Is it always this cold, here? --and where are we going, anyway?

[I wish I was cool enough to have cookies right now-- action]

[It makes things a lot easier, that's for sure. Roxas is going to tilt his head in the direction he came from and start walking, indicating Xion should follow]

No, not always. It's starting to get closer to winter. It started getting really cold like this this time last year, too. For now we're going back to the apartment I share with Axel until we figure something else out. That's okay, right? I'm sure he'll want to see you.

[no no, the problem is you're TOO cool - you're scaring them away!-- action]

[ and follow she does, though she's still not properly looking at him. she just listens in silence, nodding a bit ... until he tells her where they're going. she stops right in her tracks, looking at him with mixed worry and alarm. it's only for a moment, though -- she forces herself to keep walking so he doesn't stop. ]

... is he there right now?

[B-but I just want to be friends with them!-- action]

[perplexme]

[Roxas is still walking, so he probably doesn't even notice the look, or the fact she stopped. As far as he's concerned, Axel and Xion are friends, too.]

Yeah. He's being a big baby and hiding from the cold. Why?
