[ Waking up in a forest in a white sundress when it's cold and snowing is no fun at all, especially when she is dead certain she's not supposed to be here at all. She's clutching the journal she found to her chest as she makes her slow way through the trees, shivering violently. Every so often she stops and sets the journal down so she can cast a Fire spell to try and warm her hands a bit. She's desperate to find some shelter, anywhere she can get out of this cold and just have a moment to think through what the heck is happening here.

But she has no idea where she's going, and finally she stops, letting a few particularly hard shivers pass before she looks down at the journal in her arms. Her musings are a little muddled by her teeth chattering, yes. ]

I don't understand... I'm n-n-not supposed to be here, and I don't even know what happened to my clothes, or what this little book is for.

[ And she glances over her shoulder, frowning softly. ]

And I've g-g-got these wings ... last time I checked, I definitely didn't have wings.

[ Heaving a sigh, she hugs the journal close to her chest again, and rubs a hand up and down one arm, staring at the sky. ]

W-W-What's going on...?

[ after staring at them both for a moment in shock, she ... finally starts to smile, a shaky thing that is both sad and infinitely grateful, and even manages a weak laugh ]

I've got it memorized, Axel. Thanks.

It'll be fun, even if Axel does snore really loud sometimes. [He's grinning, but don't you dare think you're off the hook yet, Red.]

Hey, you're the one who snores. Don't let him fool you, Xion.

[Playfully gives Roxas a shove.]

[ she laughs again, and the sound's a little stronger this time. ]

I bet you both snore.

Oh, thanks a lot! [But he's laughing anyway. You guys are ridic.]

Pff. I'm going back to sleep. You two better behave.

[Already heading to his room. He needs time to think, mostly. That was a lot to take in all at once.]

Or what? [ sticks her tongue out behind his back. but she doesn't mean anything by it, really. she just watches him go, obviously feeling better now by the little smile on her face ]

He really does sleep a lot...

[ grins at Roxas ] Anyway, show me around! And I'm going to need to get my own clothing, too.

Trust me, now that he actually has the time he takes a lot of naps. [He just grins in return and motions for Xion to follow] C'mere, I think I know exactly what room he's talking about.

I think he needs a hobby! There has to be something better to do than sleep all the time.

[ she headtilts in curiosity, but follows, looking around what'll be her new home ] It's kind of hard to believe I'll really be living here. A new home... what a strange thought.

He has one, it's called bugging people until they get really annoyed. [Just leading still, vaguely pointing out where his and Axel's rooms are.] It's a lot nicer than Never Was, at least. All of the chairs are normal height.

[ a giggle ] That's true. We need to find him a better hobby, then.

It's a lot nicer. Just having something other than constant darkness is a nice change. [ pauses at the chairs bit. considering just who it was that never had a throne... ] "Normal." It's kind of weird to think about. Everything that's probably "normal" here seems really strange to me. It's just so different. Definitely not in a bad way, though.

We'll think of something, just you wait.

...yeah, I know what you mean. When I first got here, a lot of stuff seemed really weird. You'll get used to it though, I promise.

Hehe. I wonder where we could look for ideas.

[ pauses again. If anyone would understand this fear, it'd be Roxas, so... ] I hope so. I'm worried that I won't know what a lot of things are or how they work. And I don't think I've ever been around this many people before! Especially not people who have hearts. It's exciting, but I'm a little nervous, too.

I think I know a few people I can ask.

...I was pretty nervous when I got here at first, too. All of the the people here, they're all from different worlds where things all have different names and meanings. It gets pretty confusing to know what some people are talking about sometimes, but you have me to help.

[ bites her lip and nods ] Okay. I'm going to have to try and learn on my own, too...

Oh! [ something occurs to her that makes her expression darken ] Xaldin ... Roxas, do you or Axel ever speak to him? I think ... I think I need to stay away from him.

Well yeah, of course, but...well, you know. [He raises an eyebrow here.] Xaldin...not since he first got here. Why, what's going on?

[ siiiilent. for a moment or two, at least. ] I left the Organization, Roxas. He probably thinks of me as a traitor. And he wants to know what happened to me after that, and ... I don't want to tell him. I just get the feeling he'd use it against me somehow.

I left too, you know. It...mmh. I don't know what he'd do.

You did? [ blink ] Wait, that's right, I remember...

[ wait. How could she possibly explain overhearing him say "where did I think I could go?" to himself without .... OH GOD MOVING ON NOW! ]

I'm just going to hope he doesn't do anything. I don't know how far he'd go to find out what happened, but ... if I'm living with you and Axel, I don't think he'll do much. I just have to be careful and make sure he can't find me by myself.

...wait, what?

[...yeah, maybe moving on is the best.]

I don't think he'll try anything if you're with us. And if he does, Axel and I can handle it.
