[ Waking up in a forest in a white sundress when it's cold and snowing is no fun at all, especially when she is dead certain she's not supposed to be here at all. She's clutching the journal she found to her chest as she makes her slow way through the trees, shivering violently. Every so often she stops and sets the journal down so she can cast a Fire spell to try and warm her hands a bit. She's desperate to find some shelter, anywhere she can get out of this cold and just have a moment to think through what the heck is happening here.

But she has no idea where she's going, and finally she stops, letting a few particularly hard shivers pass before she looks down at the journal in her arms. Her musings are a little muddled by her teeth chattering, yes. ]

I don't understand... I'm n-n-not supposed to be here, and I don't even know what happened to my clothes, or what this little book is for.

[ And she glances over her shoulder, frowning softly. ]

And I've g-g-got these wings ... last time I checked, I definitely didn't have wings.

[ Heaving a sigh, she hugs the journal close to her chest again, and rubs a hand up and down one arm, staring at the sky. ]

Right now? [Sits on her bed and stretches out.] I don't know, I think Axel had the right idea about a nap...[Of course he's just kidding, but she doesn't have to know that.]

... [ puts her hands on her hips and bends over a fraction at the waist, giving him a look. ]

You're not taking a nap on my bed, that's for sure!

[Grin.] And why not?

[ trying so hard to be Very Serious but she's totally grinning. ]

Because it's mine now! And don't you have a bed of your own?

[ moves over there so she can poke him. ]

I do, but it's no where near as comfortable as this one. [He twitches a bit when she does poke him, but he's not budging otherwise.]

Oh, come on! I bet they're exactly the same!

[ you. :| she's going to sit down next to him on whatever space he's left at the edge of the bed and poke him with both hands, now. ]

Don't tell me living with Axel has made you just as lazy as he is!

[Laughs a little and swats at her hands, immediately sitting up] Hey, quit! There's no way I'm as lazy as he is!

[ she's just plain giggling ] Then prove it by not taking a nap in my bed!

[ she pulls her legs up and tucks them against her chest, circling her arms around them as she grins at him ] We don't have to get my things now. But I do need something to wear other than this dress and your old coat. Do you have anything else here I can borrow for now?

All right, all right, I'm up!

[He hums in thought for a moment, trying to think of something he can let her borrow.] What, you mean like cross-dressing?

Good!

[ what. she just stares at him blankly, blinking. ] Cross-dressing? What are you talking about?

Um...never mind. I might have some pants and a shirt you can borrow, or I can ask Kairi if she wouldn't mind letting you borrow some stuff.

[ still staring at him. ]

I'm fine with pants and a shirt. That's what I always wore under my coat in the Organization, anyway. I don't know if I like dresses... I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask her too, though.

She's really girly and wears a lot of skirts though, I just thought her stuff might fit you better. [Stop looking at us like that!] But we can probably go get your stuff tomorrow if you're fine with my clothes for today.

Well ... considering, it probably would. It couldn't hurt to try. Besides, I'm not sure I want to wear that coat around all the time anyway. [ she nods. ] And yeah, that's fine.

[ .... still staring. she's so going to ask you, Roxas. she is like two seconds away from asking wtf cross-dressing is supposed to be. actually she's just going to ask right now because-- ]

Okay, seriously, what is cross-dressing?

I'll see if I can get a hold of her and see what she says. I know she knows who you are from last time. I don't blame you about the coat though.

...it's...well you know, when guys wear girl-clothes and girls wear guy-clothes. I don't really get the point of it.

... she knows who I am? [ a small sigh of relief. ] That's good. I don't want to have to keep explaining things over and over.

[ blink. ] But I've always worn a shirt and pants ... are those guy clothes? Does that mean I've been cross-dressing this entire time? [ headtilt. ] It sounds silly to me.

I don't remember if she's met you, but Sora told her and Riku about you the last time you were here.

Beats me. It's another one of those weird things about another world.

... oh. That might be a little harder. If she hasn't seen me before, she's going to want an explanation the moment she does. I wonder if I can just get away with telling her I'm a Nobody and leaving it at that...

[ shakes her head. ] Where did you learn about that, anyway? I've got so much to catch up on.

Kairi's pretty good at just accepting things unless they're really, really bad. I'm sure it'd be fine...probably.

[Shrugs a bit.] I heard it in passing and then I asked the girl who owns the clothing shop. You'll pick up on stuff soon enough.

... it's not that I don't think she won't accept it. It's just explaining it over and over, and seeing the looks on people's faces...

[ she nods, but she's quiet and subdued, now. ]

...so don't explain it.

... how can I not? I look exactly like her, Roxas. The only thing different about me is the color of my hair.

...uh huh, and I look exactly like Sora except the hair color. Most of the people here don't even know what I am.

It's not most of the people here I care about, though. It's her, and everyone else who might know who and what I am. Sora, too.

[ she rests her forehead on her knees, effectively hiding her face. ]

I just wish it was easier. I still don't really know what Axel thinks.

...half the time I don't even know what Axel thinks. And I don't know how Kairi will react, but Sora should be okay with it, and that'll be enough. [Man, he has no clue how to help this time.]
