[ Xion is out of the house today. Mostly because it's become almost impossible to stay there. She hasn't slept for more than a handful of hours since Vanitas attacked -- three days ago. She's so exhausted she can barely stay on her feet, but better awake and moving than a sitting target.

Who could sleep, knowing that at any minute someone stronger than you and your friends could break into your home and kill you whenever he wanted?

It's this question that drives her to address Luceti at large, once she's got herself settled on the railing of That One Bridge. Hey, it's like right next to her house and she wanted to sit on a bridge, so sue her. ]

What would you do if you didn't feel safe in your own home anymore?

[ and this is to say nothing -- not a damn thing -- of how she feels about Roxas right now. He had no excuse -- what defense could you give? -- and Axel almost died -- for what? Why? Why had any of this happened? Does she blame Roxas, for extending the invitation, or Vanitas, for taking it? Even if she had something to say to him, she couldn't -- he hasn't been home in days.

It's a very numb Poppet that's sitting on that there railing, swinging her legs and staring at the water below. Please interrupt her thoughts -- for they are very grim ones. ]

[Xion's not the only one who's been irritated by recent events. For most of the day, Riku's been pacing back and forth around the house, occasionally stopping to practice some of the magic Aqua taught him. He's on-edge because he's seen first hand what Vanitas can do, and it's not pretty.

But for now, he'll take a break and see what she's up to. It's obvious that she's not in the best of moods.]

We'll figure something out.

[Ven's a bit hesitant about responding, especially after their last conversation, but...]

You could always stay close to your friends. It's always safer when you're in a group.

[Remember this girl? She's an awful lot quieter these days. And she's walking along the bridge, nose in a book. She looks up enough to chart her path around Xion instead of running into the other girl, and when she's close enough, she gives a polite nod.]

What you need, lass, is a security system what would keep the unsafe things away.

If you don't feel safe where you're living, I don't think there's anything wrong with asking for help or finding a new place to go.

Nailing the windows shut seemed to work for a while.

[There is someone standing behind you Xion, and it's probably very obvious. He just don't know what to say because you look bummed.]

The only thing to do then is to be strong enough to defeat all the attackers, isn't it? [A pause...] Or to have someone to protect you.

Move, for starters.

[She still doesn't know Xion that well, just met the girl in passing, really, but Miyabi's still concerned by the words her familiar voice speaks, and she can't help but speak up to them. She takes a first look at some of the other comments, nodding to a few.]

It's been said already, but...I guess the best option would be to move, or ask someone you trust for their help.

[Gods, she doesn't want to pry - she really doesn't! But...when it's so obvious something's wrong... Miyabi throws up a quick filter, for privacy's sake.] Are you okay? Did something happen?

[Having read the rest of her post and some of the comments... Man. Why did this have to happen? He'd offer his own place... But they couldn't possibly fit three more people.

[Well, after a while, Ramirez is going to walk across that bridge. He doesn't really spend much time inside, so he's a bit prone to wander. But it's hard not to spot Xion sitting on the railing and just in general looking completely morose.

However, he is also really lame, so instead of maybe saying hello like a normal person, Ramirez just stands there awkwardly before silently leaning against the bridge himself. He is worried about her, despite himself. Ramirez has been trying his damnedest not to like anyone else here, but it is so very, very hard not to be fond of Xion. And after hearing the commotion over the journals...well.

All the same, he does hope she decides to talk or tell him to go away soon. He is rather Socially Awkward and just standing here in silence is so painfully uncomfortable this time.]

Find a new place to stay.

Of course, anything I can do to help.

[A pause.] I'm very sorry your friend was attacked, I should be keeping everyone safe from him.

Take precautions. Ask someone I trust for a favor. Set up a watch.

[Here, Xion, have a not!twin joining you against that railing. She hasn't slept very well either over the last few days, but only because she's been taken on being Axel's nurse-maid until he's fully stable. The redhead's sleeping right now, so the girl figured she could get away for a bit.]

We'll get through this. [It's a very small consolation, but she truly does believe that.]

[That one sentence causes a surge of pain and memories he wishes he didn't have within him... he knows just how that feels, far too well. And he knows how powerless it makes you feel and how frightened, even if he doesn't know the exact circumstances that caused it.]

[Naoki sees her where she's sitting from a distance and makes his way nearer, slowing as he approaches. His footfalls are loud in the crunching snow--so much for stealth. If you feel unsafe there, is it really still a home? ...People -- at least, some people -- can never be truly safe. Not from everything. But when it gets this bad.... [ but she sounds unsure: she doesn't know the answer to her own question, let alone Xion's. ]
