[ Waking up in a forest in a white sundress when it's cold and snowing is no fun at all, especially when she is dead certain she's not supposed to be here at all. She's clutching the journal she found to her chest as she makes her slow way through the trees, shivering violently. Every so often she stops and sets the journal down so she can cast a Fire spell to try and warm her hands a bit. She's desperate to find some shelter, anywhere she can get out of this cold and just have a moment to think through what the heck is happening here.

But she has no idea where she's going, and finally she stops, letting a few particularly hard shivers pass before she looks down at the journal in her arms. Her musings are a little muddled by her teeth chattering, yes. ]

I don't understand... I'm n-n-not supposed to be here, and I don't even know what happened to my clothes, or what this little book is for.

[ And she glances over her shoulder, frowning softly. ]

And I've g-g-got these wings ... last time I checked, I definitely didn't have wings.

[ Heaving a sigh, she hugs the journal close to her chest again, and rubs a hand up and down one arm, staring at the sky. ]

W-W-What's going on...?

[ ohhhh that's so much better. she'll fight off a few last shivers, then stare around, blinking. ]

[ so bewildered, but poppet will strike off on her own, too, searching. her expression seems kind of stuck in "what the hell is going on here" mode. ]

Why would they have you? I think it's best not to question things too much, really.

[He'll follow her around. She does seem pretty lost, after all.]

[ searching, searching -- bingo! hi coat I missed you so. the rest of her uniform - shirt, pants, boots, gloves - is nearby as well. she scoops it all up in her arms. ]

So can I just ... take this?

Because half of what happens here doesn't even make sense, especially the experiments.

That's right. There's no munny here, so everything's free, basically.

[ oh she does not like that. ] What do you mean, "experiments?"

[ and that just makes her suspicious. ] If I don't have to pay for it, why did it all end up in some store in the first place? I don't think I like this. ... plus I need a place to change.

Well, every month or so there's an experiment. The last one made people switch bodies, just to name an example.

[...Oh Xion.]

There should be a changing room around here somewhere.

[ ... ] I really don't think I like this place.

Okay. [ she'll go off a'searching again, then, and slip into the changing room once she finds it. give her a moment, plz. ]

It can be a pain, but it's not that bad.

[he's cool wid it. He'll just chill.]

[ she doesn't respond. a minute or two later she's done, exiting the changing room and back in her full uniform, though she's got the white dress draped over her arm. she runs her gloved fingers over the back of her journal, silent for a moment. ]

Anyway, you might want to find a place to stay.

[ finally she smiles a little. ]

A place to stay, huh? Well ... I mean, where is there to stay? I still don't know anything about this place at all, other than it's cold.

There should be a few apartment buildings around, about five. Shouldn't be too hard to get a room.

Hey, I don't blame you. When I first got here I wasn't even close to where Sora and Kairi lived. Just do what you're comfortable with; you could always move later, too.
