[ Waking up in a forest in a white sundress when it's cold and snowing is no fun at all, especially when she is dead certain she's not supposed to be here at all. She's clutching the journal she found to her chest as she makes her slow way through the trees, shivering violently. Every so often she stops and sets the journal down so she can cast a Fire spell to try and warm her hands a bit. She's desperate to find some shelter, anywhere she can get out of this cold and just have a moment to think through what the heck is happening here.

But she has no idea where she's going, and finally she stops, letting a few particularly hard shivers pass before she looks down at the journal in her arms. Her musings are a little muddled by her teeth chattering, yes. ]

I don't understand... I'm n-n-not supposed to be here, and I don't even know what happened to my clothes, or what this little book is for.

[ And she glances over her shoulder, frowning softly. ]

And I've g-g-got these wings ... last time I checked, I definitely didn't have wings.

[ Heaving a sigh, she hugs the journal close to her chest again, and rubs a hand up and down one arm, staring at the sky. ]

Hey, Riku? I noticed something while I was out there. My magic didn't feel right ... like it was weaker. Does this place have something to do with it?

[That's fine. He'll try to keep a pace that isn't too hard to keep up with, even if they've got a bit of a walk ahead of them.]

Most likely. Apparently there's some kind of cap-- most people are only at half-strength, not that it affects me.

Apparently when you do leave it's like you never came here to begin with, so there's nothing to worry about. This place isn't that bad once you get past the experiments.

I still don't like the sound of those. Being experimented on and not being able to do anything about it ... it's creepy.

Sometimes the Malnosso actually cut us some slack. About a week ago they made this amusement park appear... It wasn't half bad.

I guess it was like a vacation, in a way. At the end of the week there was even a party. It was...okay, I guess.

I've had one of those before. Though we only got one day. That ... kind of sounds like fun.

Heh, definitely. Especially the roller coasters...

It's a ride. You get into these carts, basically, and you go along these tracks really fast. Usually the tracks loop and go in all sorts of directions.

Definitely. Of course, some people chicken out. The speed's not for everyone, but I definitely don't mind.

You might've liked the party, I guess. People wore costumes and danced... but that's just not my thing, personally.
