Hermione... Sorry if this is out of the blue, but I wanted to ask a favor of you. Would it be possible to ... meet more often to work on magic? I have a handle on Nala, but I wanted to work on Eferin and Kipinn... Tsinku too, if I can manage it. I know it's probably a lot to ask, but... if you wouldn't mind?

[That's okay. Hermione will forgive her. She's actually sitting by the lake with her Special Notebook open on her lap, but quickly closes it when Xion walks up. She stands and smiles, glancing at the sling.]

Hello, Xion. Is your arm all right? [She might be itching to help heal that; don't mind her.]

I broke it the other night... [ rubs the back of her neck with her free hand, sheepish. ] I got it looked at, but I don't think it's all better yet... it feels fine, though. [ for. reasons that aren't good, but hey, not feeling pain is nice. ]

I hope it gets better soon. [She frowns, but if Xion's already had it taken care of, there's probably not much else she can do, so she lets it go.]

We ought to figure out which element you want to work on first. I don't think trying all of them at once is a good idea. Do you know which you'd prefer? If we work on wind, though, I can show you what we were doing with the DA.

Well, I think I've already mastered Nala, though I'll keep working with her. I really like healing magic. I wanted to focus on Eferin and Tsinku, since they're good for offensive magic, but Kipinn would be really useful too! Especially because of the DA stuff. So we can start with wind.

[Hermione's excited, too! She smiles warmly.]

It's probably better to start with wind as fire and electricity are difficult to manipulate properly without some sort of basis for practice with another element. [Better get used to the big talk, Xion! This is normal Hermione!speak.] We probably ought to go near the mountains to start, Kippin is heard best near them. I think we ought to meet every day for this week to be sure you can learn it as fast as possible. It took me a week to master.

[She glances off in the direction of the mountains and looks thoughtful.] Either we can walk there or I can use Side-Along Apparition to take us both.
