[ Waking up in a forest in a white sundress when it's cold and snowing is no fun at all, especially when she is dead certain she's not supposed to be here at all. She's clutching the journal she found to her chest as she makes her slow way through the trees, shivering violently. Every so often she stops and sets the journal down so she can cast a Fire spell to try and warm her hands a bit. She's desperate to find some shelter, anywhere she can get out of this cold and just have a moment to think through what the heck is happening here.

But she has no idea where she's going, and finally she stops, letting a few particularly hard shivers pass before she looks down at the journal in her arms. Her musings are a little muddled by her teeth chattering, yes. ]

I don't understand... I'm n-n-not supposed to be here, and I don't even know what happened to my clothes, or what this little book is for.

[ And she glances over her shoulder, frowning softly. ]

And I've g-g-got these wings ... last time I checked, I definitely didn't have wings.

[ Heaving a sigh, she hugs the journal close to her chest again, and rubs a hand up and down one arm, staring at the sky. ]

[Blink. That's weird; it sounds less like she's asking about it and more like she doesn't know what it is. Might as well check to see which it is.]

What is it? I've never heard of anything like that before. [ browsing the guide, browsing the guide-- ]

Huh? [... ffff, he almost forgot he was mentioned in there. Oh well, not much he can do about that now.] ... Yeah, it is. I'm not a stand-in leader anymore, though.

[ her voice has gone strange. she sounds tense, almost suspicious ]

Why not? Did you leave?

Nothing like that. The original leader came here a few months ago, so I just stepped down and let him take over again. That's all.

Oh ... okay.

[ she's quiet for a moment, reading. but her voice is still odd when she pipes up ]

These all sounds like good groups ... things that help people. Have you ... heard of any "bad" organizations?

Nope. If there are any out there, they haven't put much effort into making themselves known.

... I see. [ to herself, without realizing. she sounds worried ] Then again, they wouldn't. But if they haven't done anything, maybe it's fine...

[Hrmmmm.] ... Were you expecting there to be some kind of "bad" organization here?

[ eep, caught. ] ... they are here. I've spoken to some of them. I'm kind of surprised they haven't done anything... though without the entire Organization being here, I guess that kind of makes sense.

[This sounds a little shady. And while he doubts she'll divulge all of this Organization's secrets or anything, he's still going to filter it, just in case. No need for the girl to get in trouble or anything if one of those people happen to notice her going on about it.]

... I see. So you're saying if their whole group got together, they'd start causing problems here?

... definitely. If Xemnas showed up ... he's the leader. I know he'd try to start something. It would be bad. Really bad.

I was ... I used to be part of it, before I ran away. That's why they spoke to me. I ... don't think they're too happy with me, but it's hard to tell.

You think they might try coming after you?

... I don't know. They might, but only if they think I'll be useful somehow, or if I know something they really want to find out. And I do know something they don't ... I just don't know how far they'd go to find out.

I have friends here, though. Two other people from the Organization who aren't bad. With them around, the others might not try anything, but I don't know for sure.

At least you've already got some back-up you're familiar with. [Short pause, then--] But if it ends up not being enough, you can always call on Brave Vesperia to help out if you need it. [... Yeah, that should be good enough. This girl does seem to be completely innocent, but given that anyone could play the innocent card if they really tried, he's gonna be a little careful about this for now.]

[ a quiet, tired laugh ]

Thanks. Hopefully I won't need to. I just need to make sure I can still fight and it should be fine.
