[ There is a creature in the plaza.

Though initially it hid behind the clothing shop, it seems to be venturing out now, just slightly ... looking for an opening to sneak away.

Can this creature summon portals on its own? Xion does not understand it, this body. She has seen these things before, of course, but to BE one? It's strange and terrifying. She'd known before, when she had Sora's face, felt it, but ... hadn't that been an exception? She'd tried -- right now, she couldn't even talk. And she could feel it. This wrong face, this wrong body, not hers. The only thing that might mark her, right now, is a curious (possibly cruel) artifact the Malnosso let her keep upon her return. Around the creature's neck, on a chain, is a ring. Xion does not seem to have realized it is there. She has rather more important things on her mind, after all.

Turned into a Dusk. The one threat Xemnas always turned on his members should they become unruly. She'd known. But how... he's not here! She'd only been taken for a night at most. How could the Malnosso....

What is wrong with her?

Should you be about in the evening, you may see this creature trying to rush, twist, and dart its way back to house 14 in that odd, swaying way Dusks seem to move.

But be careful if you run into her while you're out -- she just might turn into someone else entirely. ]

...you're not Riku, that's for sure. [She's holding out a hand though, an offer to take her inside to try and figure things out.] I can explain to the boys what's happening, and then all of us can work together to figure something out.

[ ... Xion hesitates for a long moment.

"You seem to be done with running, at least."

With some hesitation, she moves forward and takes Kairi's hand. ]

... okay. [ She looks back at the road, then ducks her head. ] ... I'm not going back outside for a week.

[Victory on Kairi's part. She gives the girl's hand a slight squeeze as she starts to lead her into the house.] I don't blame you. It's way too unpredictable.

... it's a little scary. I don't know who I might turn into... Wait, who do you see right now? You said I wasn't Riku... [ She lets herself be led, at least. ]

...at least you're a girl this time. [Leading, leading..] You're Naminé right now.

... oh. [ ... at least Namine isn't here. ] ... I just hope I don't run into Kohan like this... [ ... too late SHE ALREADY DID oh well.

They'll make it inside the house without incident, at least. ]

...Kohan? [She's aware that that's what the Repliku calls himself, and she remembers the name being used frequently during the last experiment, but she wasn't aware Xion used that name for him as well.]

[ .... ] Kohan. [ She refuses to call him Riku's Replica. She wouldn't stand to be called Sora's Replica, after all. ] He's still a Heartless, but I don't think he'd be happy to see me like this.

[ That's probably not what Kairi meant, but ... it's the only sort of roundabout way to confirm they're in fact talking about the same person without going "Oh, you know. Riku's replica." ]

[And she just nods. She won't push the issue, but rather merely accept that they are talking about the same person.] I don't think he would either...especially given how much she means to him. We'll just have to be careful.

[ She makes a beeline for the kitchen. She hasn't eaten since last night, and she's pretty hungry. ]

Here, take a seat. I can probably find something...assuming Sora didn't eat everything.

[ ... tiny smile as she sits. ] Knowing him? That might not be so easy. Maybe he left some crumbs?

If he left crumbs, Riku probably got to them already. [But digging, digging..ahah! +1 loaf of bread!] I'll have to see if we have anything for filling, but if not I can at least make you some toast.

... I wouldn't mind peanut butter and jelly. [ a laugh. ] But Kairi, you really don't have to... I mean, I can make it myself.

Don't worry about it, trust me. I make the boys food sometimes, it's not a big deal. [And digging...voila! PB and J! Don't mind her going about making Xion's sandwich, and maybe one for herself too.] I think you've got enough on your plate anyway to worry about.
