[ There is a girl in the woods west of the village. She's unconscious, and wearing a New Feather dress, so it'd be easy to mistake her as part of the crop of new kids.

However, she is anything but new to this place (and new to showing up wearing things other than what she ought to be wearing gosh darnit), and when she comes to, she will sigh, quietly, under her breath. She wakes up groggy and feeling extremely tired, oddly, so she won't bother trying to go anywhere on her own just yet. It is, thankfully, not cold today. However, it is pouring rain, which is also just her luck. So she will curl up at the base of a tree, trying to get shelter from the worst of it, and reach for her (slightly soggy) journal. ]

This has got to stop happening...

Hey. Sorry I just disappeared like that. Um... can you come pick me up? And bring a coat? Or an umbrella, or something...

[ The first voiced bit, before the filter, was sort of murmured to herself. Now she addresses the journal directly, figuring she's got at least something of a wait ahead of her. ]

Hi, guys. Can anyone tell me what I've missed? Or maybe just how long I've been gone. The draft had only been over for a day or two when I got taken, I think...

[ Of course, Ven and Vanitas are immediately on her mind, but she doesn't say that outright. She also doesn't know about who's left... and who's arrived. She's not aware there's been a new feather cycle at all! Someone ought to get her up to speed.

Ven! It's good to hear your voice... I'm fine! ... a little wet, but fine. [ a quiet laugh. ] The Malnosso took me again. But really, what else is new?

[Luke had found out she was gone not long after she was actually taken, considering they hang around each other a lot and a sudden disappearance is bound to be noticed. Between her being taken away and Asch being gone, not to mention the fight that caused the latter to take off in the first place... Luke had been doing a lot of moping and generally not feeling up to talking to people. Not to mention the rain... what a day. Maybe he should try contacting Asch...

But now there's some ray of light in all the bad things that have been happening. Luke had been idly flipping through the journal when he heard that voice, and he immediately straightens up, almost knocking over the very chair he's in in his haste to answer.]

Xi- [Right okay let's straighten out that chair before he falls right over.] Xion! Are you... Where are you?

[It is pouring outside - he'll have to hurry.]

[ the heavy rain is limiting her field of vision, and the sound of it is drowning out the river. she takes a good moment to scrutinize her surroundings... ]

... I think I can see one of the community buildings. But I'm not sure if it's the first or second...

In fact, it kind of pisses him off. There's a soft, constrained sigh before he launches into exposition. Which isn't much, as Luceti is always the type of place that gets its excitement in short bursts.]

It's the 15th of March. There's another New Feather cycle.

And today's weather is rainy, so please try to stay under a canopy if you must linger outdoors.

Oh, there's been new feathers? I've probably missed all of them... I guess I'll have to look through the journal later. [ a beat, then she laughs. ] That's what I'm trying to do. I'm getting soaked anyway, though. [ right on the money, Ramirez. ]

... Except Luke doesn't know Naoki, does he? Or that he's gone. Only a handful of people honestly do, thanks to Isamu's less than clear announcement, and Naoki and Xion were close enough that she deserves to know...

[ she's going to have mixed feelings about that, not!dad. of coruse, this is why you are the parent in the relationship -- finding out something this sad after just getting back would have been a little hard on her.

right now, though, she's blissfully unaware of anything being wrong as she heads to Seventh Heaven in late morning of the next day. she does want to see him -- since she hasn't seen him since the draft, and it turns out it's been kind of a while since then.
