There's something I need to tell you guys, and please don't freak out. I've been told there might be something after me ... some sort of shadow monster. It's after three of us specifically, from what I was told. Someone ... sort of ... told it about us. But don't you dare go after him, he didn't mean to! I think. So I'm not even going to tell you his name.

I just ... wanted to let you guys know, just in case. I can defend myself, all of you know that. Hopefully, nothing will even happen.

[ After certain incidents with flaming trees and that message from Sokka, Xion has decided to go off for the day to work with Nala, with [Bad username or site: valorandwisdom title= @ livejournal.com] as body guard. It isn't hard for her to get in contact with the spirit -- especially since she's already familiar with healing magic from her own world. Xion ends up spending hours in the woods just outside the village, seemingly enjoying her time with the friendly spirit, a soft green glow occasionally enveloping her hands and arms. Sora stays nearby, just keeping an eye out.

Anyone who happens to wander around that way might not recognize her, at first. That is, she isn't wearing all black for once, as she's pretty much always done since the day she was born. Not only that, but she isn't even wearing pants.

Before you get any funny ideas, she's wearing a dress. This dress, to be precise, a thing she found in the clothing store and decided to try. It was mentioned to her a long time ago that she should try dressing like a girl (thanks Roxas), so well ... she's trying.

But it embarrassed her so much to wear something so ... silly ... that, well, she's taken her training outside of the village in hopes no one would see her, save Sora, whose presence was a necessary sacrifice of her ~warrior dignity for the sake of safety.

Please find her and make fun of her. Or make her blush. Though the two aren't mutually exclusive! ]

also, backdated a bit to a couple of hours after Moro's kidnapping, aka the 16th. the voice portion of the post would have been made an hour or two before she went out, so replies to that would come before she was out training. also ksjdfa sorry for being scattered/slow, will be back on the ball tomorrow!)

[Sokka really has no shame ~~and that filter was 2% higher than his hacking skills~~. At all. Because when he found out Moro was gone, he decided to go back to his weekly hunting again. He's on the trail of a rabbit when he happens to spot Xion in a dress of all things. And... Sora too, apparently. Wasn't she dating Riku?

To hunt or not to hunt? Eh. He never liked rabbit meat that much anyway. He drops on by anyway.]

[Sora wasn't really the best bodyguard at the moment; honestly he spent a fair bit of the time Xion spent talking to the spirits either in a doze or only half-awake. He definitely looked wiped out, it wasn't at all something he could hide now - though most people would probably just think he wasn't getting enough sleep. That was certainly what it looked like, and the dozing probably didn't help either.]

[So when Sokka showed up, he was in another period of light sleep - very light, since he was bodyguarding, light enough for him to wake up quickly when he heard a footstep, though he couldn't scramble to his feet from his place sitting at the foot of a tree.]

Yeah, and the- [yaaaawn] -trees staying put now.

[Oh Sora. If you had been made out of rabbit, you'd be boomerang'd now. For now, Sokka will pull off his helmet and try to figure out exactly what exactly it is the two of them are doing.]

Yeah. I guess those stories about the talking walking tree weren't real. [Even though Sokka thought he had seen one months ago. Huh.] What are you doing with Xion? [Does he sound suspicious? Noooooo.]

[ oh hi Sokka. Xion will start a bit when he appears, immediately feeling a little awkward over her appearance. she tries not to show it and of course fails. awkward derp derp. ]

[ yeah, she missed it. probably a good thing she happened to wait until now to come out here, huh? ]

[Jeez Xion, why so awkward? Sokka doesn't get it. The dress looks nice, after all.]

Yeah. You know Moro? Giant wolf god? Threatened to kill anyone who came into the forest? The Malnosso nabbed her, apparently. Or at least I hope so. [Maybe Aku said she was kidnapped to trick people into going into the forest? Hoshit.]

[ you try wearing one outfit all your life and then abruptly change it. it's kind of daunting! especially around a guy you kissed once. ]

... wow. No, I didn't see that... I'll have to check the journal later. I guess I'm lucky the Malnosso took her before I got here. [ cups her face in a hand, smiling with a hint of nervousness. ]

[Sokka spent his whole life in thick parkas, but then got to wear loose clothing in the Earth Kingdom. One word for that: Awesome.]

You... didn't know!? If it wasn't for the Malnosso, you guys could have been killed out here!

[ yeah, realizing that, but instead of freaking out, she just sort of sighs. ]

I guess that's the one time I'll really be able to thank the Malnosso for anything, huh?
