[ Xion definitely opened her journal with a purpose, but somewhere along the way she got distracted. She can be heard in the background making quiet, frustrated noises. Seems like she's struggling with something. With a final huff of irritation and a surprised "oh!", she seems to recall that the journal is there. ]

Um, does anyone know how to make jewelry...? I'm not having a lot of luck. I probably should have asked before I started...

Oh well. It's at least better than what would have happened if I'd been affected by that weird experiment last week... [ a quiet laugh.

[ just gives him a look. ] Not you too. What's wrong with Riku?

[ sets her shells down and sort of pauses for a moment. iiiit'll be pretty obvious right away she's hiding something. ] I'm alright.

[She's getting another look. You can't hide nothing from the master of hiding things.] Are you really?

[ one day she'll actually pin you on one of these topics, Axel. One day! ... but that is not this day because now she won't look at him anymore. or say anything. for a looooooong moment. ]

... just promise me you won't tell Roxas.

[flaring]

[He pauses for a moment, just looking at her in thought, then moves further into her room.]

I promise. Must be something big if you don't want Roxas to know.

[ For a moment she looks despondent, hands clasped tightly in her lap. Then, slowly, she raises a hand ... and summons the Keyblade. She looks up at it for a moment, then lets it rest across her lap. Tiniest voice ever: ]

It's Sora's.

[flaring]

[He looks surprised when she summons the Keyblade, but when she says it's Sora's that expression quickly turns to shock. Yeah, he knows what this might mean. Again he quickly changes his expression, trying to look more neutral and calm, but he still might look a little concerned. He folds his arms over his chest and looks down.]

When I fought Riku's Replica... maybe about two weeks ago.

[ she banishes the Keyblade, looking Very Upset. ]

Axel, I'm scared. Sora promised nothing would happen, but ... because of what I am... if everything happens all over again, then I'll have to...

[flaring]

[He looks over at her again, stern.]

No you won't. Look, I'm not going to say I'm not just a little bit worried, but it's different this time. You're not a puppet to the Organization anymore and Sora is awake. It's possible you just borrowed a little bit of his power and nothing more.

[ flinches. still tinyvoice. poppet really just needs a hug, man. ]

I don't want to die. Not again.

[flaring]

[If Axel had a heart then her saying that probably would have broken a part of it. Still, his expression softens and he moves closer, putting his hand on her shoulder. He's... not really good with this comforting thing. And he really has no idea what to say.]

... I guess ... we'll just have to see, huh? [ looks up at him, trying to smile, but it just looks pained ] All I can do is hope you and Sora are right.

Well, if Sora says something like that you know you can believe in him. It's Sora, after all.
