[ Xion definitely opened her journal with a purpose, but somewhere along the way she got distracted. She can be heard in the background making quiet, frustrated noises. Seems like she's struggling with something. With a final huff of irritation and a surprised "oh!", she seems to recall that the journal is there. ]

Um, does anyone know how to make jewelry...? I'm not having a lot of luck. I probably should have asked before I started...

Oh well. It's at least better than what would have happened if I'd been affected by that weird experiment last week... [ a quiet laugh.

[ just smiles a little and keeps working. ] Well ... back home, shells were pretty important for me. There was one that I always used to hold onto... but I lost it when I came here. So I thought this time I'd actually make something that I could wear. That way I wouldn't lose them again.

Why was it so important? [Still just watching, feeling a bit odd at how similar the two of them seem to be...except, oh, right, she's sort of based on her.]

... sometimes, back home ... things would happen, and Roxas and I would fall asleep for a long time. It happened to me first... and when I finally woke up, there were a bunch of sea shells next to my pillow. He'd been putting one there every day. I kept one of them, to remember it by. And later, when it happened to him... I left sea shells by his pillow.

[ she pauses, smiling warmly and a little wistfully at the memory ] So I guess I sort of associate sea shells with friendship... they mean a lot to me. Riku didn't know that, though. I guess he just had a good hunch!
