[ When Xion arrived back home from a grueling month-long mission, the first thing she did was not check her journal. She headed home. Home, where Luke is. He'd been there, which was wonderful.
He'd also filled her in on all that she'd missed, which wasn't so wonderful. ]
It's scary, sometimes... how much things change. I missed so much while I was gone. I'm so sorry, everyone. I'm home now.
Sometimes, I feel like I've been here such a long time... maybe because it has been a long time. It'll be three years in November... won't it? I don't remember anymore when I got here... I'm pretty sure it was November. It feels like so long ago. Like lifetimes have passed since then. I've grown up so much in this place... and so many people have come and gone. [ Kairi.
A beat. ]
I'm sorry. I shouldn't be rambling like this.
We're starting to get some New Feathers in, right? My name is Xion. I work at the clinic, I'm part of the S.O.S Brigade, and I'm head of the Kyoshi warriors. If you ever need help, you can come talk to me. I'll do anything I can.
Um... I guess I have one last thing I want to talk about. I've got a lot of points now from going on missions... what do you guys do with your points? Or what would you do, if you had them? I sort of know what I want, but I guess I'm looking for other ideas, too.
Thanks, everyone.

Tenten tries to act nice, but there's no denying there's a hint of disbelief in her voice. ]
So people just get complacent with the Malnosso?
What's your home world like? Is it nice? [ Maybe her home world sucks so much that Luceti is much better! That would make sense! ]

I didn't say anything like that. I don't like the Malnosso any more than anyone else. But when you've been here this long... you sort of learn to cope, you know?
... my home world ... wasn't really nice, no. It was always dark there. We had no sunlight. Only a moon... and it was full of Heartless. [ ... ] It's kind of a long story.

That does sound miserable. What are Heartlesses? [ She takes a seat. ] I have the time. I could be here for years, remember? [ And that was an incredibly tacky joke! Brought to you by Malnosso-O's! They're Delicious! ]

Xion isn't sure what to think of this girl. ]
.... Heartless .... they're monsters. They're born from the darkness in people's hearts. I didn't fight them that often at home... only when my superiors wanted to test me. [ She hasn't thought about these things in a long time. ] Mostly, I stayed inside the Castle. There weren't any monsters in there. [ Well ... not in the same sense. You could say her "coworkers" were monsters, too. ]

So, you guys just let the incarnate of darkness in people's hearts walk around? And you kill them when you're allowed?! [ Tenten sounds partially horrified and partially shocked. There's some part of bile fascination that resides within her as she explores the possibilities. She knew some really heartless people back home. Just how powerful would their Heartless incarnates be? ] I'm glad you were at least safe.

I am SO sorry. Real life just hurricaned for like, a week.
s'okay!
[ She switches to writing, and starts to sketch. She's no great shakes, but she manages to do an at least recognizable rendition of this symbol. Once she's done, she turns the voice function back on. ]
Some types of Heartless have that symbol on them... those were the only ones we were supposed to kill, since they release hearts. Other kinds of heartless don't, so they weren't important... just in the way. Those other kinds, the ones without the symbol, were the ones that lived around my world.

[ Hmmm. She pauses, unsure of what to say. ] We don't have any system like this at home. The closest we have is someone's soul getting sucked out and sealed for all eternity, or just extracted and then it can't return to the body unless it's reversed.
