Yeah. [He shyly lowers his gaze, shuffling his feet a little.] I was going to try to heal you... um, without waking you up.

[ She pauses again, blinking at him. Then she laughs, very quietly, just once. ] You came out here ... just to heal me? [ Her smile is very warm. ] That's really kind of you ... Hope. Thank you.

Don't mention it. [He offers up a small smile of his own in return, and sets the candle aside so that he can work with both hands.] All of us need to stick together, right?

[Hope lifts his hands so that they're hovering precariously over the girl's small form.] Don't worry, this won't hurt or anything.

Yeah. [ Her smile broadens, creasing her eyes. ] That's what friends do.

[ She sighs a little, settling, unable to help her eyes falling shut. ] Okay. I trust you.

[He gives a short nod, swallowing thickly before dredging up some of the energy that manifests behind that marking on his wrist. It glows a golden sort of hue, and then there's a warm light spilling from his fingertips, drifting over Xion's body before settling into her. All in all, it only lasts a moment, and then Hope straightens where he stands.]

There. I, um... i-it's not as powerful here, but it should help some.

[ What... Xion reopens her eyes when she sees the light from behind her eyelids. Unlike the green color she's used to ... gosh, it's so pretty. And after it's done, she feels a little more alert, and her voice is a little clearer. ]

Oh ... that was nice. [ ... she blushes a little from how stupid that sounded. Come on, Xion! ] I-I mean ... um ... thanks.

No problem at all. [Hope offers a shy little smile through the light of the candle as he reaches with a hand to retrieve it.] I should probably let you get some more rest now. Unless I can get you anything...
