[ She's awake, and reading a book. It's very boring, recovery, and though she is positively surrounded by flowers, they aren't THAT interesting to stare at for long periods of time. She looks up when Fenimore comes in, though, and smiles. Previously sitting with her knees pulled up so she could rest her book on her legs, she uncurls so she can see the other girl better. ]

Fenimore... hey. It's good to see you.

[ She returns the smile, moving closer and glances over at all the flowers. ]

Hey. I'm glad that you look you're doing better. But...it looks like I'm not the first to think of this. [ She takes her hands out behind her back to reveal a thin vase with a couple of daisies from Grune's garden sticking out the top. Maybe she should have gone for the morning glories if she had known she was going to have so much competition.... But she doesn't sound put out by the lack of originality at all. Being impressive is really not the point. ~~Impressing with flowers is the boyfriend's job.~~ ] I guess it was a pretty obvious idea, though.

[ She can't help but laugh. ] It's okay. A lot of this came from my friend Miyabi. She ... she went a little bit overboard. [ She still looks pleased, though. ] Still, that was really sweet! Thank you.

Only a little bit overboard, huh. [ She'll just shift that smile into an amused grin and find a place to put the vase temporarily. She can move it about if Xion asks. ] You're welcome, though.

How are you feeling? I shouldn't guess based on a glance, really.

[ she laughs again. ] You don't think it's too much, do you? [ teasing, a little. she must be feeling better. ]

Um ... I'm doing better. [ Not okay, not well. Better. It's the most she can give, bandaged and still recovering as she is. ]

[ Her smile takes on a bit of an unhappy edge, but it probably won't do Xion any good to dwell on her state. She's probably had plenty of time to do that on her own. So she'll answer the question and pass over the statement. ]

No, it's not too much. I can still tell it's a room and not a garden if I look carefully. You could probably stand to have a few more.

[ .... she starts to laugh, just .... helplessly. Completely helplessly. It's the hardest she's laughed in days -- and though the sound of it is still quiet, she has to stop before it starts to really hurt! But man, did she ever need that..... ]

I missed you, Fenimore. [ GRIN. ] Once I'm better, could we spend a little time together? I'd really like that a lot.

[ Fenimore chuckles a little, too. Even if it was her own joke, laughter is generally infectuous. ]

I might be able to take a little time for that. [ But she's teasing and a little touch of fondness seeps into her tone as she continues -- implying she's missed Xion, too, even if she's not saying it directly. ] After all...I'd like it, too. It's been too long.

Oh, if you're not too busy. [ Still grinning. ] Maybe we could go for a walk. Or maybe head to the rec center... I don't go there very often.

I've never been to the, uh...wreck center, actually. I guess I didn't pay very close attention to it when it opened. [ And she has noooo idea what is in it because of that. ]

I'm not there very often! But it seems like it'd be fun to spend some time in. There's all sorts of games there, I think!

Games...? [ She tilts her head back and forth a little. Nearly every game she's ever played have involved very little or simple props, so she's not quite sure what kinds of games would be tied to a particular building. ]

[ Then she shrugs. ] I can give it a try, at least. I'll trust your judgment for now.
