Her smile turns crooked for Draco's question, and she looks over at him. ] ... not really. But I'm a little better than I was yesterday.

I suppose any improvement is improvement. [He leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees.] I heard about what happened. That girl was loud enough for the whole village to hear.

The girl announced it, though I think it was an accident. And then there was a boy who was busy answering questions. Sound familiar?

[He knows he shouldn't ask until she's feeling better, knows he should try to be sympathetic and perhaps coddle her a bit...but he's never done it before. Why start now? Besides, Xion tends to respond better when he's blunt.]

[ A beat. ] I don't know. Until I'm well enough to go home, I guess. ... I don't really know how long that will be. [ She shifts. Her right side protests -- it's still sore, and also becoming stiff from lack of movement. sigh. ] It's not so bad... I spend most of my time sleeping, anyway.

Sleeping's useless...to me, at least. I think it'll benefit you more. [He's rambling. That's usually not a good sign. He's definitely keeping a close eye on her though.] Is your house still safe? After everything...perhaps we ought to make the wards around it stronger.

I'll take a look. Not that I don't trust Hermione, but a second reinforcement won't hurt. I know a few more wards I can try to put up.
