[ There is a creature in the plaza.

Though initially it hid behind the clothing shop, it seems to be venturing out now, just slightly ... looking for an opening to sneak away.

Can this creature summon portals on its own? Xion does not understand it, this body. She has seen these things before, of course, but to BE one? It's strange and terrifying. She'd known before, when she had Sora's face, felt it, but ... hadn't that been an exception? She'd tried -- right now, she couldn't even talk. And she could feel it. This wrong face, this wrong body, not hers. The only thing that might mark her, right now, is a curious (possibly cruel) artifact the Malnosso let her keep upon her return. Around the creature's neck, on a chain, is a ring. Xion does not seem to have realized it is there. She has rather more important things on her mind, after all.

Turned into a Dusk. The one threat Xemnas always turned on his members should they become unruly. She'd known. But how... he's not here! She'd only been taken for a night at most. How could the Malnosso....

What is wrong with her?

Should you be about in the evening, you may see this creature trying to rush, twist, and dart its way back to house 14 in that odd, swaying way Dusks seem to move.

But be careful if you run into her while you're out -- she just might turn into someone else entirely. ]

[Well! Luke is... not the slowest party member!! ... Unfortunately, he is also not the fastest. But he can't lose sight of that thing. It has Xion's ring - what did it do to her?

In fact, he's about to demand that when he rounds the corner, thinking that it's way far ahead now, only to skid to a halt when he sees...]

[Wait... Luke might not be close to Aerith, but he's seen her enough times to know that her wings aren't that color. He does know who does have that color, though... and who'd keep that ring, despite the meaning of it being lost. And who he was chasing...]

[That's enough for Ammy, then. She stops and sits once she's a couple of feet away, just watching, her head tilted just slightly. What happened to her? This isn't her true form. She even leans her head forward a little, as if to sniff at her and figure out what's happened.]

[Frankly, Mewtwo doesn't get all the fuss about not being human. He knows plenty of creatures that aren't human, and they all seem to get along just fine, even the ones that are normally-inanimate objects and what-not.

But it's obviously an issue for Xion (and other people in Luceti who are not the topic of this conversation), so he'll do what he can to accept it for now and move on.]

[ Hello, was that a Dusk you were looking at? It's now some boy. Just kinda sitting on the ground now, though Xion has yet to catch up on the change. ]

[That's definitely her. Aerith or... whatever that thing was or not, it's Xion.

Luke closes the distance between them and kneels down beside her, though he doesn't reach out to touch her just yet. Not until she gives him the go ahead.]

I don't know. [ She shakes her head. If she seems to notice that she (apparently) has a blindfold on now, she gives no sign. ] The last time this happened during an experiment, yeah, it went away, but ... that was different from this.

Everyone was changing during that experiment. Into the thing they cared the most about, or the thing that they loved, or ... something. I'm not really sure. But this is just me... and I'm only turning into people from back home.

[ Mostly, she will still smell like herself. But there will be another scent there. In this case, that of the boy. When the memories that make up her core are this volatile, in a way, she does take on some actual aspects of the people she turns into.

It's only when Xion reaches out to touch one of the flowers -- and realizes that she's able to touch one of the petals -- that she realizes her form has changed, again. But she doesn't know into what, or who. With a groan, she rests her head in her hands. ]

Well, you don't seem wounded, but if you keep changing it might be better if someone is with you, I suppose? No offense but you looked pretty weird before, people may go "who is that" at someone they don't know trying to get to their house.

Xion has a lot of lingering affection left over for him from the family AU, so quite contrary to her reactions to the others so far, she darts right over to him, going so far as to hide behind him.

She ... thinks he won't Keyblade her, anyway, unlike the other boys would. He's probably safe.

I miss you a lot, Kohan. One of the very few nice things about that experiment a little while back was getting to see you normal again. It'd be nice to talk to you normally again, without the journals or anything...
