It was strange. I spent so much time being so scared. But now that I know for certain... I don't feel afraid anymore. I just feel a little sad, I guess.

And Riku... [ tiniest little laugh ] I guess Sokka was right about him after all. But ... I almost wish he hadn't been. I feel like it's wrong, somehow, to do something like this when eventually, I'm going to have to...

So has anyone ever managed to contact Hyt? I know he's supposed to be the most difficult spirit to get in contact with, but... I want to try.

[You know, Brook totally forgot he even took his journal with him when he left the house. So he answers in a bit of rush, sounding fairly panicked, and it's probably obvious from the background noise that he's running.]

He- Sanji-san snuck out of the house to speak with one of the Filial spirits! I haven't the slightest clue where he is!

[ she's already booking it out the door, if you can't tell by the sounds of rushing and slamming. it's going to take her a bit to even reach the forest, though. she'll talk into her journal as she goes. ]

We put him to bed, but he must have left after we had retired as well! So it can't have been more than a few hours!

I don't think Hyt is really a 'he'.

Do you think it's too much to try and talk to Hyt first, before any of the other spirits? I just feel like ... Hyt is the one I should contact, somehow.

I'm not really sure if the order matters. But he, er, she... it is the hardest one, apparently. It won't be very easy.

Yeah. I read that in the guide. I don't care if it's hard, though... I can handle it! I guess I'm just worried I won't be able to contact Hyt at all. I'm not really sure how it's done.

He's starting to trust me a little bit and come well, a little more than half the time now.

Well, I've made pacts with Kipinn and Eferin already. If you'd like we can try taking on Hyt together. Consider it an apology for that uh, business with the flowers.

Good luck with Hyt. It can take a month or more earn Hyt's trust and even then, the spirit can be reluctant when it comes to teaching. I've just started learning from Hyt myself, after weeks of the above.

Hey, just gives you another advantage here. If I were you, I'd learn all I can.

Hyt wasn't very hard for me... but I think the spirits react to each person differently.

I suppose, depending on what it is.

I have yet to actually try to learn from Hyt, though I hear he's more temperamental than the others. If you'd like company while you try, I've been meaning to learn from other spirits, as well.
