[ She's gone for a few minutes. Once she makes it out past the breakers, the ocean buoys her gently, and the sensation is bizarre and a ton of fun all at once. What she does can only really be described as frolicking. Sea frolicking, as it were. Though for a spell, she unknowingly mimics his own position, laying back in the water and bobbing up and down with the waves as she stares at the sky. It's very peaceful.
The war they left behind feels, for just a moment, worlds and years away.
But it's a little too quiet out here without him, so she returns to the shore. He'll probably hear her before he sees her -- she has to splash her way back through the shallower water, first. As she moves she idly wrings the water out of her hair and pushes wet strands out of her face. ]
