oo53 [action] backdated to the 8th!
[ There's always a noticeable quiet in the village during and after drafts. It's been a long while since Xion's been on one, and while she doesn't precisely miss them, she does somehow feel like she should be there. And when she isn't, she's always left antsy. Wishing there was something she could do. Anything.
It hadn't helped that her father and her boyfriend had both gone, too.
When Sanji had come home, she'd decided to find him and Rapunzel -- but Rapunzel hadn't been available. Not really knowing the girl very well, Xion had decided against bothering her and spoken to the bakery's temporary replacement, instead -- Aang. When she suggests her plan to the two of them, they readily agree.
So on the 8th of April, a week after everyone gets back, Xion, Aang, and Sanji will be setting up tables around the fountain, and on those tables are a delirious assortment of baked goods. Some of them are standard from the bakery, but some are specific desserts from Seventh Heaven, and some are totally new - Xion's invention, or things she and Sanji invented together through hours of baking together.
Yes, it's an impromptu bake sale, only without the sale part. Xion herself will be bouncing around either handing out baked goods to those who come over, or venturing further out to wave passersby over. And she always manages to approach with a bright smile and a hello.
All three bakers are on hand, though, and will be throughout the day. ]
(ooc; like it says on the tin - you can tag in and get Sanji, Aang, or Xion. If you don't specify in your subject header who the tag is for, we'll just pick amongst ourselves. Threadhopping is also encouraged. Go nuts!)

Hey Chouji!

[Chouji can see other people manning the tables, and he's not sure which of them are the cooks.]

[He takes a couple bites, and words aren't really needed to express his approval. Chouji's smile does that well enough.]
Any reason for the big bake sale today?
no subject
[He gives a light chuckle.]
Well there's not many reasons. Mostly we thought it'd be a good way to help cheer people up! [Because, you know. Draft stuff.]

[He winces a little at the cheering up part.] Actually, in that case, I might want some more things to take back. I know a few people who could use cheering up.
[Pies aren't going to fix things, however good they taste, but Chouji's glad for any small gesture he can manage at this point. Plus, Aang can help him on his secret mission to make sure that everyone on the floor at the very least eats properly.]

[He gives an understanding nod.]
And that's alright, Chouji. You can take as many as you want. Spread the cheer as much as possible.

Thanks, Aang.
[Chouji isn't thinking about the draft, but he won't tell Aang that. Instead, he'll start browsing other sorts of baked goods, probably sampling them as he goes. Free food, as much of it as he wants, is still a pretty exciting thing.]

[A soft smile. Chouji has been showing concern for his friends in the same way lately, and Aang's gesture of choice is Chouji's favorite.] I know what you mean.

And you're doing a good job baking! Your practice has paid off.

[And he smiles.] Thanks, Chouji. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I did. I'm going to look around a little more before I head home. I don't think I'll be able to resist trying a few more things! See you soon, alright?
